About the course

The first tee is across from the baseball field. (local tip.. park in the gravel lot in between hole 6 & 7, map says its bryce street but road sign says walnut. Start your round on hole 7) New tee signs have been installed with all new pin positions and accurate distances!

Excellent course for beginners has some good views along the way a handful of variety of shots. I was traveling through town for work and had time to stop. I’d say it is well worth the time spent playing. Only downside for me is overall the course is quite a hike, and there are a lot of pedestrians and cars you must be mindful of. Some holes you have to walk a bit just to get to the next tee pad. (I’ve got knee surgery so hiking can be a lot) Overall a great course to stop and play!

It has been a while, but the times I have played it, it was an enjoyable course. Good mixture of wooded and more open holes. Not a lot of courses that uses a bridge for a fairway, like one hole does here. There is some distance to walk between some holes, and the southern most section did feel somewhat repetitive to me. However, after playing multiple courses in KC metro during the same outing, I found this one to be most rewarding to play as the last course.
