Nice course and use of grounds- I would have put a couple baskets in the wooded area- Like the details with the orange and brown layouts going with bgsu but those colors (tape) very hard to see on red baskets- Maybe should have ordered different color baskets. Some baskets missing tape- In a field type course where you can see purple baskets and pads. Please just put tape for which direction to head to next. New players will struggle a couple times

Besides a couple long walks just for 16 and an interesting tee placement for 17 short, I feel like Carter is a fun track! Multiple tees and pin positions with dedicated baskets allows for playing more than the two more formal layouts (you can change the tee and/or basket you're scoring to in the scorecard). There are a number of grown men incredibly upset with the course redesign years later who can't fathom that people might like a course and be able to not yank their shots over a fence; you know the attitude is bad when people who aren't from the area have to give a disclaimer for their reviews. My recommendation is that you just play it for yourself. It's nowhere near perfect, but to call it a half-star course is genuinely laughable. Busy during baseball and cross country season, might get some players warming up in the area around 8 and 9, or back by 16.
