I live in Waco and avoided this course for years. It is better than i feared, but some of what I feared was true: a bunch of 425' field throws, coupled with a bunch of luck shot long throws in trees with huge thorns on them. Long par 4s are the place for big arms to show their advantage, but par 3s that are then boring upshot for pars for most people. This is just poor public course design. Nevertheless, the course has some good lines too. The pads and baskets are high quality. I enjoyed it more than I expected, but my expectation were bet low. Also, the "main" has 27 holes. This is silly, and a "best of" 18 version should be the main with opportunity for variants.
