About the course

ATTENTION: THIS IS CURRENTLY NOT A DESTINATION COURSE FOR THE TRAVELING PLAYER. THIS IS A GROW THE SPORT COURSE FOR LOCALS THAT HAS A LONG WAY TO GO. FLYBOY CANADA : CORNWALL @ GUINDON PARK IS PLAYABLE IF YOU CAN HANDLE IT ROUGH! 9 baskets have been installed and most temporary Tee Bricks were laid (currently no bricks for holes 8 & 9 as they literally disappeared before our very eyes), however flags mark all locations.The course requires some serious landscaping which the Parks Department has yet to complete and likely won't happen until spring making holes 7 & 9 difficult, but not impossible - you'll just have to be the warriors you are and tough it out.We made the choice to get the baskets in the ground so Cornwall players have something to do over the winter, so please be positive until we can get things done in the spring.And to help encourage the completion, get out there and get playing the course so the Parks Department sees how committed you are to having a course.

This course has lots of potential. Nice scenery with three different layouts (red, blue and the new black markers). Tee off markers are in place but very hard to find this time of year with the leaves on the ground. UDisc is a must. The basket at hole #3 needs to be straightened. Overall, the city with the assistance from some dedicated volunteers did a good job of clearing out overgrown bush on holes 6, 7 and 9. The region is full of ticks so please exercise the necessary precautions. With some more TLC, this can become a really nice course with improved t pads and hole signage as necessary next steps.

This course was a really tough play. Trying to find the tees boxes in combination with discs being very easy to lose on this course it didn’t make for an enjoyable round
