Have to keep up on killing those goat heads (puncture vine) other than that..outstanding course..

@lukehammer
I really enjoyed this course. I didn’t play my best, but it has a lot of challenging low ceiling shots and requires good placement of the tee. It’s a lovely location all throughout a park. I would imagine that with many park goers you would have to be very careful of pedestrian..

@cjkamena
Great course! Tee pads are great, all concrete. Ground had a lot of holes/mounds. You will definitely have some uneven run ups in the fairway. Shot variety is good especially with both the blue and yellow baskets in year round I believe. A lot of bomber holes. Challenging use of mandatories a few times throughout the course. Bathrooms are actually a far walk away from the course. Signage is great but might need help getting to the next tee pad as some holes have a short walk to the next hole. Views are great! Mostly clear and of pedestrians but might have to skip a hold or two for people picnicking/playing on grass. Flats and Sharktooth (mountain layout) are two of the best courses in Kern County!

@jscott79
Thank goodness this place is free. Not impressed at all. Trash, plastic bottles, glass bottles everywhere, ppl just sleeping on the course in several areas, dog shit… poorly designed
@jscheler
Watch your step and prepare for a 3.5 mile hike with ridiculously long par 3s. The next starting tees are often far away from previous baskets and would be nearly impossible to find without UDisc app and distances should be updated. Look out for picnickers making out and gopher holes. Gopher holes are very dangerous and everywhere, especially the front 12 on Suicide Flats.
@dgjamie
I guess I would rate it 4.5 out of 5 stars. This time of year it's green and beautiful and about 70°. May to November it's a lot hotter out here during the day, so you have to start early unless you love the HEAT.

@mattd18
Needs more bathrooms

@russd87
Great & challenging course. There is OB with water so be cautious and it’s very long!

@owenforest
Super fun course! Was a bit sad to lose a disc off a big skip into the water on hole 13. Lots of different lines to take on every hole which is fun. Great to play with a beginner minus a couple holes.

@whitewtrwescott
Udisc needs to be updated for yellow disc catcher pins. Played 18 and not a single location/distance was correct.
@snap7times
Too many straight 320-390 shots. Could use more variety in left to right and distance change up expanding the use of discs and skill.

@dylanmays661
Lost my shryke on hole 16 in the water to the right. It’s a light blue color and has my name/number on the back. Give me a call if you pull it out please, it was raining and I wasn’t up for wading around in the creek

@barry706
Enjoyed, will come back. Two full courses, multiple pin positions, only problem was finding next T or basket location. Probably the best in Bakersfield.

@bogeyjoey
Fun flat park course. Uses trees and water is great ways. Some longer holes mixed with a few 300’ holes that require a tight line.

@msheddan
Nice course- multiple baskets per tee. Biggest complaint- baskets next to water hazards where disc most likely can't be retrieved. Lost one disc- and second one I went into water to retrieve and came out with burning itch. Know water adds excitement - but chance of losing $25 discs on 1/3 of holes just too much. Still is a nice course- just take discs you don't mind losing.

@discodave82
Great course for Bakersfield. Lots of trees, hazards, water ways, and some share here and there. long holes, 500-600 feet. Great course overall.

@drunkboogie21
Great long course...bring your distance drivers.

@chenry97
Not for beginners unless you wanna lose a disc haha As I've progressed this course has grown on me, however the fact that hole 4 or 5 goes to the end of the stretch just for you to walk all the way back the opposite direction for the remaining holes is SKIPPABLE..just for time sake 👍
