About the course

Kilgore Park is a public park with tennis courts, basketball courts, a large kids playground with a 2 story playhouse. Located near Washington, Challand Middle School, Jefferson and Sterling High School, this course is geared to encourage others to try a new sport. The course plays along the perimeter of the park, with a walking path nearby, seasoned players can utilize the path as a boundary line or extend the playable area and use the park boundary.

Small park-golf style course. I appreciate having a neighborhood course in Sterling. The layout makes the most of what it can. That being said, I am not a fan of the way the course is laid out in regards to the public sidewalks and pedestrian traffic. I can count on myself to have the patience to avoid walkers, but I don't think all players have that ability and it makes me worry.
