About the course
This is a beautifully situated short 'Aceplace' style layout. The course shares space in this mixed use park. Right of way always goes to other users that are passing through the space. But that should rarely be a delay as the course is very short and the sight-lines are good. This 9 hole course flanks the river and has a very urban feel as a couple of holes play under the overpass...the massive retaining wall and columns make hole 8 the feature hole of this course...so fun to roll it along the curved wall. The course was designed by TinLid Disc Golf in 2024 and installed by the RMWB that year.
The original course was a 6 basket 18 hole course concept installed by Kyle Warren in 2017 with donations from Oilsands Rotary and Lions Club, which introduced the disc golf scene to Ft Mac.

Excellent beginner course, probably the best I’ve played. Tidy tee areas and nice mowed grass, clearly well cared for. Decent variety of shots too!
