Tee of 9. Time to let 'er rip. This 420ish foot fairway with generous landing areas is begging for most players to throw a stable driver. The local pros can likely hit circle one from the tee but the rest of us mortals will be playing for position.

There will be a Mando on the left edge of the fairway at the tree line to ensure people don't get cute and throw over the gardens.
Tee of 7. This is probably my favorite tee shot. It is a very stock hyzer but the downhill makes judging the distance very difficult and a right to left wind is very common here making a hyzer a riskier play.
Basket of three offers wide open putts in all directions in circle one. Players should be hoping for birdies on this holeTee of 8. This is a longer dog leg left. You must throw uphill 200-250 feet before hyzering to the left down a hill another 150-200 feet. I have yet to birdie this hole but I am fairly certain par 3 is correct.

Be sure to check, if there is anyone playing in front of you, that they have moved on to number 9 before throwing.
Tee of two. This hole plays down hill and to the left. There are numerous mature white pines guarding circle one and two. I am also convinced the guardian white pine has some form of plastic magnetism.

I think this is about a 3.5 as an 18-hole course and 4 as a 9-hole course. The back 9 is essentially the front 9 from the tips with significantly more difficult tee position (not just more distance). #1 and 10 almost perfectly over lap and there’s a highly disproportionate amount dog leg lefts favoring RHBH/LHFH. Without UDisc you can get lost to the point of never finding #9 and possibly a couple other holes. That being said- when there is signage it’s good. Tee boxes are great, variety of terrain with as much elevation as the landscape allows. The holes are shorter than they look at the tee box so int/adv players rarely if ever need a driver on the front 9. All-in-all a pretty decent course. I listed a bunch of negatives up front just because I appreciate full disclosure. Solid, well-kept course obviously created by an avid player (which is hard to find up north). Id recommend playing from the same tees on the front and back👍🏽

Very well designed course! Great creativity with the grounds and multiple t-pads on each hole. Horse flies accosted me the entire round, but not enough to make me quit. Definitely a great add to the lakes area, and definitely will be back!
