Mt Xavier has had quickly become my favorite course 18 basket/teepad course in Vic. There is so much variety in every hole, and each one demands or offers something different. The use of elevation is phenomenal, though makes using a cart a bit a bush bash mission. The blend of open fairways and tight wooden lines is amazing, there's some big bomb anny lines, super fun downhill ace runs, placement shot fairways, and I gotta say- yeeting a backhand roller on hole 16 is so much fun!! Would love to see 1-2 par 5s on this close so I'm crossing my fingers for an alternate layout, either a different pin layout or different tee pad- or both! I would come to any and all fundraiser events to make this happen!! But this course, as is, has to be top 5 in Australia if not top 3. Well done to the course designers and everyone who pitched in to make the course ready for TGCC '26

This is an awesome course still in the making, when all the tee pads and signage is finished it will be great. Look forward to what it looks like in the future.
