About the course

Welcome to the Siskiyou Crest Disc Golf Course, an exhilarating adventure on Mt. Ashland's slopes. This 18-hole course comprises two separate 9-hole courses: the beginner-friendly Sonnet course and the advanced-level Comer course. 18 Holes / Par 54 / Dirt Tees / Rough Fairways / Much Elevation HIGHLIGHTS: -Free to play, donations welcomed. -A mix of uphill, downhill, and cross-slope fairways. -Panoramic views, sweeping slopes, and invigorating mountain air. NOTICES: -No lift service is available; you must hike up to shoot down. -Holes 1-9 (Sonnet) are family-friendly, while Holes 10-18 (Comer) are far more challenging. -This course is available through a Special Use Permit issued to Mt Ashland by the USFS. This permit does not allow permanent work. -Filtered water and restrooms are available in the gray building in the parking lot.

I’ve played for 5 years, moderate skill level, 18 courses total, mostly in IL. This was the most fun course I have ever been to. Beautiful views, short technical holes, forehand, backhand, long bombers downhill, wind, sun, and a great workout walking up all them hills and rocks. Lots of climbing. The baskets are MVP BlackOut Pro and chains catch well. Hard to navigate without UDisc app telling you where next tee is. Overall an amazing experience! Recommend if you are somewhat experienced. Really tests all your skills at once. (Finished -2…probably a fluke lol)

This could very easily be a full star higher with just a little bit of effort. The baskets are trash, the tee pads are dirt and uneven and small, and the first few holes are basically a pitch n putt. But after that, it has some beautiful scenery and a good difficult variety of shots. It also randomly seems to be missing the 15th basket as far as I can tell? So anyway, some challenges, but still so much potential and beautiful and worth a visit.
