About the course
Turn in and park on the immediate left side (or at the futebol pitch just down the street). 1st tee is to the right and the first fairway is parallel to the N120 road (for White & Blue). 1st tee for Shady Beginner's is the same as tee #6 Blue. Use UDisc maps, even if you're not keeping score, to best navigate the layouts. There are hole descriptions as well as all the accurate distances and pars. Some tee signs are still missing on the course. Each target has an arrow on the flat bottom of the basket pointing to the next tee for White & Blue layouts.
Two 18-hole Layouts and one 9-hole Layout. 19 baskets total, and all turf tees are installed. We can't put tees on the roads , due to trucks and machinery. using them for access, so those tees will remain dirt tees. Lots of nice uphill and downhill shots. Technical and short designs, overall. Beautiful view of São Luis and the distant hills from the high points on the course.
I have discs to loan to beginners. Usually the locals play on Saturdays and Sunday afternoons.
Please be patient with course conditions, maps, signs, info, etc. There are only a few of us doing work on the course in a volunteer capacity.
Lots of spiky plants out there, wear pants and be on the lookout for ticks in spring/early summer.
