Located at the side and back yard of a Lutheran church, Redeemer is a course with a built in disc gold shop that is well stocked. There are three tees and baskets; yellows (the easiest) still ended up being challenging. The front 9 contains a lot of ideas, such as an island hole on Hole 4; the ideas don't feel like gimmicks, though if you overshoot the basket on top of a bridge on Hole 6 you will have to walk down a steep ravine. Hole 3 has nets to assist: very appreciated! Hole 7 is a nearly blind throw over a tree that if you fade too far left you will have a long hike down and then uphill. The back 9 is on the top of the hill and is more standard. A nice downhill shot for Hole 15 followed by a few holes where you hug the right side. This course is itching for a big boomer downhill shot and the last few are duds in that regard. But overall, this is a fine, fine course. One more thing: we had a neighbor's dog harass us most of the back 9. If you are involved in the maintaining of this course, I ask that you speak with this neighbor and kindly ask them to restrain their dog. It didn't attack us, but man oh man was it annoying.

Lovely course. The gentleman at the shop was very polite as well! Definitely look at UDisc to find your way around for the first time just to be safe. Every hole felt achievable but also punishing if you go off the fairway. I'm excited to come back sometime when it is warmer!
