About the course

Established in October 2023, Shangri-La is located at J. Charles Field in Forty Fort at the Luzerne County Sports complex. This is an 11 hole park style course that allows for a variety of shots. We have open and wooded holes, 2 par 4's, water hazards, natural OB, mando's and a nice use of the gains and losses in elevation. Tee pads are marked by smaller signs indicating each hole number.

The course is evolving. At this time 3 of the Tee pads aren't poured but the green turf works well. Basket 9 was just recently moved to make it more challenging. This is a tough course for noobs but I like it because it definitely not boring. Spray for ticks because this course is in the woods.

Coming along nicely. Variety of different shots , wooded and some park holes. Plays pretty tuff overall. Significant improvements this year to tee pads. The more it gets worn in from play, the more I have enjoyed it.

Short course (3 par 4s )good to keep the arm warm. Alot of water to avoid but all retrievable. (Seasonal)It's the early stages and things will progress. So convenient to be able to drive your car to a t box and throw a few. Or even trust yourself and throw over the water. Has tons of potential and is growing in #s
