Let me rate this course differently for three different types of players: 1. beginners: stay away from this course. It’s too hard and too thickly wooded; you’ll spend more time looking for discs than throwing them. 2. intermediate players (940s-980s) tight lines and demanding gaps make this a real challenge. You will basically only need putters and one fairway driver, but the course will push you with them. Don’t read the ratings because they don’t understand that this is the best intermediate course for truly intermediate players in the Chicagoland area. 3. advanced players (990s+): this course is really short; if you can expect 95/100 times to hit a 10 foot gap 100 feet off the tee with the correct angle to go another 150 feet, you will get every single hole here. It’s still fun, but it could be a bit longer

If you want the kind of course that requires every try shot to be high stakes then this is it. Fun and technical for a little bit, but can get frustrating after a while as there is not a ton of variety. There are only few easy big fairway shots to break up the rest of what are very challenging tunnel through the woods type shots.
