About the course

Beautiful 9 pin course. Tonal posts for targets and huge rocks with maps for tee markers. Nice challenging combination of wooded, tunnel and semi open shots. It will definitely test your technical skills.

History

A local Wawota resident was playing DG in Arcola and mentioned that there was a rest area on Wildlife Lands just west of Wawota that looked like it had potential to have a disc golf course added to its offerings. It turned out to be an excellent prospect in a semi wooded area. A proposal was presented to the Wawota Wildlife Federation that was approved. After a few key donations of materials and with the help of some Wildlife members, the 9 pin tonal course became a reality in the Spring of 2025.

This course is a nice blend of open, semi-open and wooded tunnels. It's a rather technical course that offers some unique challenges that will definitely test your skills. It is a 9 hole tonal course made of repurposed propane tanks set a chain height. The ringing sound produced when struck with a disc is music to the ears. A back 9 would be fantastic here.

Nice little challenge in the thickets above Little Pipestone Creek. Tonals have amazing sound and are set at the same height as a basket. Perfecto. Frustratingly fun with a true taste of victory when you defeat it.

This is a hidden gem of a course. Not what you expect from a tonal course. It’s a fun technical course. The lines are there and if you hit them you may snag a birdie but if you miss them you will be punished. This is not what you would expect from a course near a small town, it’s definitely worth the stop and you’ll likely play a second round. Course resembles Rocanville so if you like that course you will love this one.
