Coarse prolly use to be great for testing your metal for experienced players. Rollaways down steep hills are a given if you’re not super precise on you’re landing on most holes. Coarse is fairly open woods as far as limbs go but my gosh is the fairway growed up with weeds and fallen trees and limbs everywhere. Looks more like a deer trail than a fairway. The carpet tee pads are also older than I am and lumps and dips all over. Theres also non existent tee pads. Hole 18 looks like it’s about to fall over from years of being in a drainage wash. This would be a decent coarse but it’s clear it’s not being maintained at least not for a couple years or more! I assume some hiker or biker got hit by a disc once upon a time since it runs parallel to the bike trails in places and they would just rather not maintain it so nobody uses and forgo an accident. The other coarse a short walk away is in great shape albeit tons easier and shorter so that’s the only thing I can think of to not maintain the Tom 2 coarse.

Potential, TONS of potential to be a top notch course. LOVED the rough terrain. If you love hiking, you’re gonna love this course. Just be emotionally prepared to lose multiple strokes to poorly manicured fairways and roll aways (seriously, my roll aways on 10 were almost comical, turned a sure birdie into a triple bogey). You will also spend time looking for discs, even on shots that looked good from the T-pad. If you want to play a well designed course with lots of rigor, come and play here, just be prepared to get your cardio in. Would be a five star course with better t-pads and better maintenance. LAST BUT NOT LEAST. You will have to walk out almost every hole unless you want to throw blind or trust what UDisc says (not advised!).
