Don’t know what it is about the course in Hopkinsville but they need to stop using gray basket that bend in or just paint them with bright colors it is hard to see the baskets sometimes

First off this is my home course, and I may have some homer bias. This course is intermediate to advance level. Each hole has 2 tees, one long and one short. I will say the shorts may play longer than some are used to. There are also some longs that are arguably easier than their short counterpart, hole 3 for example. The teepads are concrete and each hole features a detailed sign showing basket placement, distance, fairway, and direction to next basket. The course offers a variety of shot shaping, features natural OB, soft pars (hole 11), hard pars (hole 2), wooded, open, and park elements. Course is easy enough to navigate (6-9 are across the bridge/10-18 behind museum). However, it may be difficult if you aren't familiar with the course due to lack of navigational aids besides tee signs and some baskets arrows. Unfortunately, due to this being a Native American Historic site ground disturbance is limited therefore navigation aids are also limited. Holes 6 - 9 are prone to flooding and can become unplayable as a result during parts of the year. The park does seem to be trying to mitigate this a little bit. Speaking of Hole 6, it is a hole that is easy to lose a disc on due to the river next to it. The course is upkept well enough as well, I'll mention some of the reviews talking about trees being down were left just hours after or a couple days after wide spread severe weather events. Now while I can sing praises about this course all day it does have some faults such as a lack of benches and the restroom being closed due to vandalism in public restrooms across the city. Overall I think this course is a solid 4 star course and one of the best in the area. -I do periodically come back to update this review to provide a more current review of the course
