About the course

The course winds its way around a busy public park and athletic fields at the Waynesville Rec Center. You will have to play around park goers but there wouldn’t be much of a course otherwise. If you aren’t patient don’t bother stopping by. Awesome views of the southern Appalachians. Long shots and ace runs. Maps at Rec Center (828-456-2030). Map is highly recommended.

Very poor signage and multiple long walks between holes. Hazardous tee boxes and fairways with throwing over many walking paths, parking lots, volley ball courts and more. Has the potential to be a solid course but needs some work and rearranging.

Wish I could give it a 0 star i have been there 2 times I got threatened by homeless my first time. If you want to play with rusty chains, 3ft tee pads, and waiting 3 minutes a hole for passerby then this is the course for you!
